Your treatment appointment for microblading and/or microshading starts with a consultation. In this step, we will discuss your preferences regarding your eyebrows. This includes the shape and color. Furthermore, I will go over the consent form with you and take before pictures of you.

Shaping
In this step, your face will be measured according to the golden ratio, and a shape will be drawn that suits your facial features and proportions. If necessary, we will adjust it together to match your individual preferences.
Determining your optimal eyebrow shape based on:
- Facial features and proportions
- Existing eyebrow hairs
- Existing asymmetries
- Your personal preferences
- Possibly existing faded pigmentation
Color Selection
In this step, we determine the ideal color blend for your pigmentation. The selection is based on:
- Your skin type
- Your skin undertone
- Your eyebrow color
- Possibly your old pigmentation
Pigmentation - Microblading & Microshading
Now we proceed with the actual pigmentation process. Microblading or microshading can be applied individually or in combination.
IMPORTANT: Depending on your skin type, skin structure, possible previous pigmentations, and personal preferences, a suitable pigmentation technique will be selected for you.
During microblading, a “blade” or a series of very fine needles is used to gently and superficially open your skin. In these fine openings, which are placed in the direction of hair growth and resemble individual hairs, the pigment is then deposited.
During microshading, a fine needle is used to punctually, gently, and superficially open your skin. The pigment is inserted into these very small openings. This technique allows for the creation of beautiful gradients.
Both techniques can be performed manually or with a pigmentation device. The choice of technique depends on the preference of the pigment artist.
Aftercare
After the treatment, you will receive instructions and a care cream. To ensure optimal results, it is crucial that you follow the instructions and apply the cream regularly.
Follow-Up
The follow-up treatment takes place 4-8 weeks after your initial treatment. During this appointment, we optimize the results. We assess how your skin has accepted the pigmentation, and if necessary, make adjustments to the color and shape. Furthermore, we refine the existing pigmentation to enhance its longevity.
Touch Up
If the color has significantly faded or changed, it's time for your touch-up. During this appointment, we refresh the color of your pigmentation. The shape should still be visible during the touch-up. Tip: On average, clients come for an eyebrow touch-up after 1-2 years.
